Violet Packard Wright

Mrs. Violet Luvinia Greene Packard Wright, 95, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at White Oak Manor in Shelby.
She is survived by two daughters and their families: Linda and John Cabiness, Carson, Daphne, and Addison Cabiness, all of Lattimore; Kyrin and Dr. John Billinsky, Samantha Billinsky, Kathryn and Chad Graham, Trevor, Henry, and Eleanor Graham, all of Columbia, SC; son, David Wright of Zebulon; brothers-in-law, Aaron Wright of Fallston and Winslow Wright of Shelby; and sister-in-law, LaVerne Wright of Fallston.
Born April 6, 1921, in Rutherford County, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Columbus Preston Greene and Beulah Olivine Bridges Greene and was preceded in death by her husbands, Buster Packard and Hugh Sylvester Wright, brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Greene and wife Nelle Blue Greene, and Norris Greene and wives, Leona and Shirley Greene.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 - 7:00 pm Friday, April 22, 2016, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Sandy Plains Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John M. Billinsky, Jr., MD. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
