Walter C. Taylor Jr.

Mr. Walter C. “Buddy” Taylor Jr., age 78 of Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Harris Taylor of the home, a son, Mark Taylor (Dee) of Inman, SC, a granddaughter, Charlee Joy, three brothers, Joe Taylor (Emma Jean) of Franklin, NC, John Taylor (Kay) of Shelby, NC, and Jim Taylor (Cheryl) of Shelby, NC, two sisters-in-law, Brenda Davis (Harvey) of Boiling Springs, NC, and Teresa Warlick (Arthur) of Boiling Springs, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born October 8, 1944, in Macon County, NC, Buddy was the son of the late Walter C. Taylor Sr., and Nancy Justice Taylor and was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Taylor.

Buddy was a member of Forest City Masonic Lodge 381.  He was also a member of the Oasis Shriners in Forest City.  Buddy served in the United State Army.  He was a loving husband, father, and brother.  Buddy had a compassionate heart and would support anyone that needed the help.

A private family service will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
