Wanda Hamrick

Ms. Hamrick, 64, of Shelby, NC, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was the former owner & operator of the Honey Bear Cafe. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a graduate of Number Three High School & Gardner-Webb College. Wanda was preceeded in death by her father W. Sam Hamrick. Wanda, is survived by a son and his wife Cale Crotts & Tammy, a daughter and her husband Wendy Thrift & Robbie, her mother Vernie Wellmon Hamrick, a sister and her husband Freida Pauley & Larry all of Shelby. In addition to these she is also survived by grandchildren; Brittany Crotts, Sean Gantt, Caleb Crotts, Zack Thrift & Cori Thrift, and one great grandchild Gracie Gantt. Memorial services will be conducted by Rev. Tim Trexler, pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Cleveland Funeral Services, 2518 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28152 to assist with funeral expenses.
