William Lovelace

Mr. Lovelace, 68, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was retired from the U. S. Postal Service where he was a Rural Carrier for 30 years. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and a avid carp fisherman. Mr. Lovelace was preceeded in death by his parents James Edmond Lovelace Sr. & Hester May McSwain Lovelace Justice, a granddaughter Britney Lovelace, and a sister Docia Ann Lovelace. Mr. Lovelace is survived by his wife Betty Piercy Loveloace of the home, two sons Billy Lovelace of Kannapolis, Nc, and Robby Lovelace of Shelby, NC, a special daughter Mary Piercy of Shelby, a brother and his wife Ed Lovelace & Hazel of Shelby, two sisters Millie Whitaker and husband Elmer of Shelby, Madeline Queen & husband Bob of Shelby, granddaughters Chasity, Amber & Taylor, and a grandson Aaron. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Fryar pastor of Double Springs Baptist Church.
