William Lovelace

August 23, 1941 — April 11, 2010

Mr. Lovelace, 68, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was retired from the U. S. Postal Service where he was a Rural Carrier for 30 years. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and a avid carp fisherman. Mr. Lovelace was preceeded in death by his parents James Edmond Lovelace Sr. & Hester May McSwain Lovelace Justice, a granddaughter Britney Lovelace, and a sister Docia Ann Lovelace. Mr. Lovelace is survived by his wife Betty Piercy Loveloace of the home, two sons Billy Lovelace of Kannapolis, Nc, and Robby Lovelace of Shelby, NC, a special daughter Mary Piercy of Shelby, a brother and his wife Ed Lovelace & Hazel of Shelby, two sisters Millie Whitaker and husband Elmer of Shelby, Madeline Queen & husband Bob of Shelby, granddaughters Chasity, Amber & Taylor, and a grandson Aaron. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Fryar pastor of Double Springs Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Double Springs Baptist Church, 1130 Double Springs Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
