William Rivera

William Allen Rivera, Sr., age 64, of Shelby, NC and formerly of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away February 16, 2018 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.
Born February 2, 1954 in Norwalk, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Emanuel Rivera and Marion Davis Rivera. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Lindsey.
William was a United States Army veteran and a member of Reclaim Christian Church in Ansonia, Connecticut.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Rivera; three children, Susan Socci and husband, Tony, Stacey Rivera and husband Perry, William Allen Rivera, Jr.; two sisters, Suzanne Genest, Virginia Spinello; two brothers, James Rivera and Douglas Rivera. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Andrew Perry Rivera, Ken Geriak, John Rasberry, Crisalan Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
