William Tessener

Rev. Tessener, 78, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, NC, he worked at Dicey Fabrics and was also a Baptist Minister. He was a member of Fellowship Independent Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Rev. Tessener was preceded in death by his parents; Charile Lester Tessener & Dula Mae Casuby Tessener, his wife Florence Marie Baugham Tessener, a brother C. D. Tessener and two grandchildren. Rev. Tessener is survived by three sons and their wives; Marvin Tessener & Donna of Shelby, NC, David Tessener & Janet of Lexington, NC, and Michael Tessener & Denise of Fayetteville, NC, two daughters; Faye Hoyle & husband Bruce of Shelby, and Helen Estes & companion Ronnie of Lawndale, NC. In addition to these he is also survived by a brother Curtis Tessener of Shelby, and three sisters; Buna Wray and Marjorie Wilkie both of Polkville, and Paulette White of Shelby. Rev. Tessener also has 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. David Tessener, Jeff Dowell, & Gene Bumgardner.
