William Warren

Mr. Warren, 80, of 206 James Love School Road, Shelby, NC, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, he was retired salesman and manager a Southern States (former FCX) for 40 years, and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Mr. Warren was preceeded in death by his parents North Warren & Gattie Waters Warren, three brothers; J. L. Warren, Fate Warren, and Billy Warren, and a sister Raye Gavin. Mr. Warren is survived by his wife Peggy Kivett Warren of the home, one son and daughter-in-law Don Warren & Gail of Lattimore, two daughters and their husbands; Judy Greene & Danny and Terry Whitaker & Doug of Shelby, three brothers Howard Lee Warren, James Warren and Nelson Warren all of Shelby, two sisters Inez Philbeck and Muriel Panther both of Shelby. Mr. Warren's grandchildren are Wendy & Calvin Cobb, Stacey Clapper & husband Brett, Jenny Greene Norville & husband Russell, Crystal Greene, Danny "Dano" Greene & wife, Sally, Heather Whitaker Cornwell & husband Brad, Billy Whitaker & wife Natalie, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
